GIMP - Die Paintshop/Photoshop Alternative (Free!)

So liebe Almaci's
da es unter uns doch noch immer relativ viele Personen gibt, die sich kein Adobe Photoshop oder Paintshop Pro leisten können (nicht jeder hat 500€ fürn Grafikprogramm übrig) und immernoch mit MS Paint arbeiten müssen, habe ich mal was rausgekramt, was für jeden von uns interessant sein könnte, und zwar GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program!

Einführung

GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.

GIMP is expandable and extensible. It is designed to be augmented with plug-ins and extensions to do just about anything. The advanced scripting interface allows everything from the simplest task to the most complex image manipulation procedures to be easily scripted.

GIMP is written and developed under X11 on UNIX platforms. But basically the same code also runs on MS Windows and Mac OS X.

Hehe genau das was ich hab und auch schon nach Anleitungen gefragt hab :D

GIMP ist nur für Gates-Jünger was Neues.
Wer Linux hat, hat das schon lange...

Toll ist es auf jeden Fall!

Sobald es die Games auch für Linux gibt fliegt Windows raus ganz nach dem Motto:

In a world without walls, who needs windows???
In a world without fences, who needs gates???

Ich habe jetzt auch ein bischen getestet und muss sagen, das Programm ist sehr vielfältig, aber dadurch auch nicht besonders einfach.

Man braucht so einiges an Einarbeitungszeit, es lohnt aber die Zeit zu investieren da es sich hinter den grossen der Windowsdynastie nicht zu verstecken braucht!

Würde sogar sagen das es durchaus mit einem Photoshop mithalten kann und dazu ist es kostenlos :daumen)

Die Gimp-Entwickler arbeiten laufend an einer Verbesserung des Programmes. Die Bedienung ist schon wesentlich einfacher geworden.
Und in nächster Zeit soll Profi-Unterstützung, die CYMK-Farbraum und 31 Bits pro Farbkanal kommen.

Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, dran zu bleiben.
